What time are the practices held?
Practices are held on Monday from 6:00 pm. to 7:30pm at Hernando Methodist Church and on Tuesday from 7pm.- 9 p.m. at Brown Missionary Baptist Church (State Line Road). We will also have open play day on Thursday from 7pm-9pm where players can come and play games for additional training.
What is the cost to sign-up and join Grace Volleyball?
Currently there is no fee to join our program, however due to the small size of our staff and volunteers, we have a limited amount of openings that will be available at the present time.
Is there an age or grade limit to participate?
Currently we are targeting youths that are in 5th through 8th grades who has an interest in learning and playing volleyball, and a desire to try out for their middle or high school team. However, as the program grows, we would love to be able to expand to a broader demographics to serve anyone looking to play or learn volleyball.
Does Grace Volleyball compete against other teams?
Our immediate focus is to train and teach participants the basic fundamentals of volleyball. As our players skill level develops to a point in which they feel comfortable in engaging in competitive games, we will begin to scrimmage against other local teams and potentially tournaments.
